lauren0309 Posted April 10, 2008 #1 Share Posted April 10, 2008 Please settle my bet with my husband. I know Princess cruises has movies under the stars which you watch at night by the pool, to the best of my knowledge Royal Caribbean does not. I don't recall any cruises I took on Royal Caribbean that had it. My husband said I am wrong. He remembers a movie being offered outdoors. Settle this bet for me so I can win my $100! jbrambach Posted April 10, 2008 #4 Share Posted April 10, 2008 I have seen the Movies Under the Stars on some Princess Ships and I even think Disney has this. I haven't seen or heard about RCCL having this feature. Maybe your DH has some inside info we don't know about yet.;)
FitzLA Posted April 10, 2008 #5 Share Posted April 10, 2008 Princess, Carnival and (maybe) Disney. Not RCCL.

DFW4 Posted April 10, 2008 #8 Share Posted April 10, 2008 Don't spend the cash yet! On Voyager this past spring break, they offered MUTS for the 15-17 yr olds. So, you're DH may win. I'd say, split the bet and take each other out to a drive in. Johnathon

*CENSORED* Posted April 10, 2008 #10 Share Posted April 10, 2008 I agree with DFW4, they had movie under the stars on our Voyager cruise 3-23-08 for the Adventure Ocean kids.

OP's DH wasn't on this sailing so, he couldn't have been there to watch it.

This wasn't my 1st voyager class, and I remember seeing it on a prior as well.
Rare Radio Posted April 11, 2008 #14 Share Posted April 11, 2008 On Liberty of the Seas in January, they projected Movies at night FWD near the Solarium. . . (on 2 nights ) It wasn't as nice as Princess or CCL (with a very large display), but they may have been testing if passengers would like it. . . Radio
