hezzy Posted April 17, 2008 #8 Share Posted April 17, 2008 We just got off the Insignia in Athens after their first cruise out of drydock. The ship was immaculate, beautiful, and the crew was rested and at their best. The greatest change was the new television system. They put flat screens in all the rooms and added their new satellite system. Well, there were lots of bugs. Some people had no tv and some had limited tv. ours was limited and the set was slow to respond whether in port or at sea. You might try to change the channel with no response and be sitting 20 minutes later and it would change channels. They were working on it constantly and hopefully have it solved by the next cruise. I must say for us, that was minor. We can watch tv at home. It was really a welcome respite.
Benita Posted April 17, 2008 #9 Share Posted April 17, 2008 What is the chance that they added refrigerators to the "lesser" cabins? Or is that still the luxury perk that they hope we will shell out big bucks for?
tak2 Posted April 17, 2008 #10 Share Posted April 17, 2008 Just curious, what's TV size? Standard size all cabins or bigger screens in PH ? ( O cruise brochure said 42" in OS, VS, but that's before drydock )
