Shore Excursions

Morning all,

Just wondered how far in advance excursions can be booked.

On Ventura in August and would love to book for Rome but am

a bit concerned that with 3000+ passengers the excursions will

quickly be booked up.

Just take the train to Rome. 9 euros return, including all local buses/subway in Rome. Gets there quicker than the coaches stuck in traffic. Two trains an hour. Stops at St Peters or central Rome.

Excursions usually open for online bookings about 12 weeks in advance of the cruise. Check out their website from about 14 weeks onwards. By the way it ALWAYS says 20 or less places left for each excursion so don't panic.

Yes it does. The train station is about 10/15min walk along the sea front away from the port from where the port shuttle bus drops you off. See this link for train times. There are two trains an hour.

Just make sure you dont get the absolute last train back in case of delays or cancellations, although they usually run on time.
