Self-service laundry hours?

I can't get the search to work. Does anyone happen to know the laundry room hours on Crown Princess? (I tend to like to do laundry early in the morning while I have coffee, so I can enjoy the rest of the day chore-free.)

We've done laundry on the Crown and Emerald after midnight. I think they're open 24 hours.

They are not supposed to be open 24 hours, they will usually lock the doors around 8 or 10 pm I can't remember.

 

They are not always good about locking them though, kind of hit and miss. Hence, Lew's post.

The ships we have sailed on the laundry rooms open early enough in the AM, somewhere between 7-8 AM if memory serves me correctly. They then close them around 10 PM.

With staterooms close to the laundry rooms, they do not leave them open 24 hours so it doesn't annoy passengers looking for some quiet to sleep.

We are on the Star, and the self service laundries open at 8am and close at 10 pm

On Sea Princess last month the launderettes closed at 10.30 pm. I think they opened at 6.30 am.

on the 4/1 sailing of the Diamond the laundry was open 24 hrs. I even asked to make sure I didn't lug it down there after hours.

Does anyone have any idea just how loud it might be?

 

I feel like I got a good deal on the room but wonder if it was really worth it? I thought it would be nice for me when I am doing laundry for my husband, son, and I for me to just go back and forth across the hall but then I got to thinking about everyone else tramping around my room.

 

Frankly, I have only been on one other cruise ship that had passenger laundry opportunities. It was nice. I wonder just how many people use the "luxury."
