ange647 Posted October 5, 2004 #1 Share Posted October 5, 2004 Anyone know the ATM fee for using the ATM on the ship?
Nitemare Posted October 5, 2004 #2 Share Posted October 5, 2004 Depends on the ship and your bank. If you know what cruiseline you're traveling on, you should ask on their board here at CruiseCritic.

serene56 Posted October 6, 2004 #4 Share Posted October 6, 2004 On the VOyager I paid 5.00 atm fees plus 2.50 from my bank. Lot of money being paid out to get my own. It will never happen again. Also- ATM's run out of money half way through the cruise. Royal does not charge to get money using your sign and sail card to get money from the casino. Carnival charges 3%. 808lady Posted October 8, 2004 #5 Share Posted October 8, 2004 Infinity charges $5.50. Wait until you are in a port if you can.

miniannie Posted January 10, 2005 #7 Share Posted January 10, 2005 I understand you can charge chips in the casino to your shipboard account and then cash them in. No fees!
serene56 Posted January 10, 2005 #8 Share Posted January 10, 2005 Again- it depends on what cruise lines you are sailing. Some will charge you 3% service fee to take money off your sign and sail card to use in the casino. Others are free. What ship are you sailing? Cruise2End Posted January 11, 2005 #9 Share Posted January 11, 2005 Also not all ships have an ATM so definitely ask!
bluegrasshopper Posted January 20, 2005 #10 Share Posted January 20, 2005 Just got off the Island Princess the ATM (located in the casino) charged us $5.50 in addition to what our credit union charges. You could check your balance for free which was convenient. However , the ATM was down on at least two occasions so if you know you are going to need it you might as well get it out when you see it working. We wound up withdrawing a bit more than we anticipated needing so that we would not have to pay those charges again. On Princess you can get cash on your cruise card in the casino but they do add a 3% surcharge.
