jen-ja-fer Posted May 12, 2008 Author #5 Share Posted May 12, 2008 You can also get it at Walmart, Kmart, or Target near the bras or in the craft section. Rep Are you using just double-sided tape? Or is there something special used for clothing?
Repsol Rod Posted May 12, 2008 #6 Share Posted May 12, 2008 It's called fashion tape or dress tape or apparel tape...and prolly a whole bunch of other names. It's basically very thin double sided tape - and works wonders. I used some for a halloween costume last year. Did the trick.:D Rep
simplelife Posted May 12, 2008 #7 Share Posted May 12, 2008 I've seen it at both Target and WalMart in the Lingerie section. Steinmart and Ross usually have it too.
jen-ja-fer Posted May 12, 2008 Author #8 Share Posted May 12, 2008 Sassy! I'll check around town at the local retail stores before trecking all the way out to the mall! Thanks! Now I don't have to call it 'boob tape'. LOL!
niki1785 Posted May 12, 2008 #9 Share Posted May 12, 2008 I bought the fashion tape at Bed Bath and Beyond, it was in the section with the magnified mirrors and slippers. (Plus you can use the 20% off coupon even though it is pretty cheap anyway). I have used it and thought I would love it, but it really hurt me when I tried to take it off. Plus it didn't really help me keep my strapless dress in place, the dress was a little too big anyway, but it just kept slipping. Maybe there is a trick I should have tried when taking the tape off. Good luck with it :)
BlueHerons Posted May 12, 2008 #10 Share Posted May 12, 2008 I just use regular double sided tape. It is really sticky and thick but it is clear. I think it is made by 3M? Or one of the office supply companies.

kbt2 Posted May 12, 2008 #13 Share Posted May 12, 2008 I tried to search the forums, but I didn't get anywhere. Am I even calling it the right name? Mine came from VS as well...works great. Even used for my son's costume for a hat that was sliding off his forehead, so put a strip on his forehead and voila...the hat stayed in place all night. Hey jen...I am on ur cruise in a few days!!!! :)
lovebug33 Posted May 13, 2008 #14 Share Posted May 13, 2008 You can get Hollywood Fashion tape at Bed, Bath and Beyon. It wasn't terrible to take off of my skin and it also worked to keep the dress together!
Jan_In_Maine Posted May 13, 2008 #15 Share Posted May 13, 2008 Besides Wal-mart, VS & Target I have found it in Sears and Penney's. Never thought to look in Bed, Bath & Beyond!! Jan

ballet2410 Posted May 13, 2008 #17 Share Posted May 13, 2008 Here is the link to the company:http://www.hollywoodfashiontape.com/ I get mine at fabric stores. :) I also use this same brand. I can only find it at Bridal stores or online. I use it to hold straps and such in place on dresses and anytime I wear a button up blouse, I use it between the few buttons up top to keep that little gap closed. jen-ja-fer Posted May 13, 2008 Author #18 Share Posted May 13, 2008 I'm going to Wal-Mart today at lunch. I'll report back to let anyone else who's curious if I find it and what department it's in. :)
jen-ja-fer Posted May 13, 2008 Author #19 Share Posted May 13, 2008 I did actually find it at Wal-Mart! It was kind of hidden, so here's a picture of the brand they carry: It was in the Lingerie department.
