The crew member with the bull horn was quite entertaining without trying to be. He was use the bull horn to tell people walking toward him to stay and wait in the shade for the next tender;

While waiting I climbed the steps to the top of the wall and took some shots down the beach;

After a short while our tender arrived and we boarded for the return trip to the ship;

Here's a shot behind our tender of the arrival area;

The blue building on the right hand side is the rental cabin and our cabana is the second one in the row. You can see why we got some visitors;

We were very familiar with this vantage point by the end of the cruise;

One last shot of our Cabana;

And a few of our home;

We had to wait off to the side while the Half Moon Cay Clipper offloaded the crew and supplies;

Obviously there's a lot of supplies to be moved back and forth to make Half Moon Cay the great port stop that it is;

The larger tender came along side to unload pax onto Liberty before we did;

After Half Moon Cay Clipper finished unloading, we pulled alongside and began unloading as well;

Here's a shot from the tender into the boarding area;

And Britt wondering why the crew elevator wouldnt' work for him;

After a quick shower, swim, and a snack I headed out onto our deck for the sailaway from Half Moon Cay;

Another great review Paul! Would you do a b2b again?

We are going back and forth about whether to take the Pride out of Baltimore in 2010 or the Dream! I know you are already booked on the Dream, and I think you will love the Pride too if you decide to book. We went to Half Moon Cay on the Pride years ago, for our BIG family graduation cruise....also had a cabana, and also had several people just walk up the steps and grab a chair.....LOL.....uncomfortable to have to explain over and over why they are not entitled!

After the sun had set, I asked Karen if she had a good day at Half Moon Cay. Can you guess what her answer was?;

Later that night we enjoyed ice cream by the aft pool while the boys swam some more;

A frog greeted us upon our return to our room;

And Britt then presented us with his front tooth that he'd been waiting for months to come out;

Gail,

We'd do another B2B in a heartbeat! Karen has a more difficult time getting two weeks off together in the summer especially in June or July. She can usually get two or three off in August, but the boys are playing football then so it's not a good time for a B2B. If she can get the time off, we'll do B2B on Pride in 2010, but it's doubtful that she'll be able to. Pride is doing Half Moon Cay, Grand Turk, and Freeport the week we're going so I'm sure we'll have a good time. The week before and after is Bahamas (Freeport & Nassau), then Port Canaveral. I would rather a different itinerary, but if it happens, we'll find plenty to do in all the ports.

As for the Cabana visitors, I'm glad I knew in advance that it was likely to happen. I have you and others on CC to thank for that advance knowledge. I'm sure if I didn't know and it happened, I would have been less amused and more aggravated by it. ;)

Thank you also for the 9A advice you have offered. We're definately hooked on aft wraps! :D I sat on the boys side cabin balcony and their aft cabin balcony a few times and it just didn't feel right to not be able to see more than 180 degrees. :eek: :)

Guest Mary49

Thanks Paul for the video; I've added it to my favorities and I'm glad you got to see them a few times away. The same thing happen on the Miracle; there was a group from the Medical Department and some Officers that came in each night to see them. I've added the video to my favorites. I don't know what happened but two of them were not there. Maybe they couldn't make the cruise this year to work. It was only Enrique and Tata. I've attached the group picture of them below. I hope to catch up with them next year sometime. Can't wait.

Would you do another B2B? It really must have been hard to get off the ship at the end..... Thanks again Mary49

Possible reasons why we haven't heard back from Paul...

Hmmm, let's see...

1) He had to go back to work (depressing enough)

2) It is 4th of July weekend -- he MIGHT have plans with his family :)

3) There's always a "getting back into normal life" letdown after a great cruise, to say nothing of paying bills, mowing the lawn, doing chores, etc.

4) I'm sure you can thing of a bunch of other reasons...

I'm sure he'll be back soon. ;)

Hey Paul!

I am so enjoying your reviews! I was on the second leg of your trip and can't wait to hear about your opinions of that week!

I have a question for you.....we ate dinner in the aft dining room, and we found it to be very shaky. Did you feel any of that in your cabin? Because of you review, I am thinking of booking cat 9A for our 2010 cruise, but am concerned about the shaking that we felt.

We had balcony cabins near the front of the ship, and the noise was unbearable during the night. We heard loud banging noises on the outside of the ship, and was told it was because of the rough seas, and it was waves hitting us. Did you hear/feel anything on the very back?
