Laundry Room

Just found out our friends have been assigned a room right next to a passenger laundry room.(Dawn Princess) Anybody know if there is a lot noise and if so does the laundry room have reasonable hours of operation.:rolleyes:

I was on the Dawn last year and if I remember correctly they locked the doors at 10 p.m. every night. On the Dawn the laundry facilities are small just two washers and two dryers and a ironing board. They shouldn't have any problems.

I ironed my shirts the first day of our cruise on the Star Princess last summer. There were at least four irons and ironing boards. They also had spray bottles for water at each ironing station.

They did have an ironing board and iron on the Dawn Princess. I am trying to remember if they had one or two. It was only a couple minute wait.

no, having irons in the rooms is considered a fire hazard so they are only located in the laundry rooms
