SaylorGirl Posted October 25, 2004 #3 Share Posted October 25, 2004 I was on the Dawn last year and if I remember correctly they locked the doors at 10 p.m. every night. On the Dawn the laundry facilities are small just two washers and two dryers and a ironing board. They shouldn't have any problems.
PINEY10 Posted October 25, 2004 #4 Share Posted October 25, 2004 Do they have an iron?
Rare geoherb Posted October 25, 2004 #5 Share Posted October 25, 2004 I ironed my shirts the first day of our cruise on the Star Princess last summer. There were at least four irons and ironing boards. They also had spray bottles for water at each ironing station.
SaylorGirl Posted October 25, 2004 #6 Share Posted October 25, 2004 They did have an ironing board and iron on the Dawn Princess. I am trying to remember if they had one or two. It was only a couple minute wait.
LatinGuy Posted October 25, 2004 #7 Share Posted October 25, 2004 So our actual rooms do not have irons/ironing-boards in them?
roohound Posted October 25, 2004 #8 Share Posted October 25, 2004 no, having irons in the rooms is considered a fire hazard so they are only located in the laundry rooms
