bb-62driver Posted September 14, 2008 #1 Share Posted September 14, 2008 Seems like a silly question, but does RCI have robes in the cabins like on HAL?
1aparty Posted September 14, 2008 #2 Share Posted September 14, 2008 It depends on your cabin. Underthing under a Jr. Suite does not unless you sail alot with Rccl, I think gold card member does but Iam not sure.
bb-62driver Posted September 14, 2008 Author #3 Share Posted September 14, 2008 Seems pretty bush league considering the minimal expense to RCI and the goodwill it would promote.
ED MARY ANN Posted September 14, 2008 #4 Share Posted September 14, 2008 You could ask your cabin attendant and they will get one for you.

Even more bush league considering that Carnival provides them on every ship and every stateroom.
39august Posted September 14, 2008 #6 Share Posted September 14, 2008 We had robes from our very first RCI cruise. Just ask your room steward for them. We were never denied, although once we were told he would have to see if any were available. After you reach a certain level, I think Diamond, you automatically get robes. SheltieLady Posted September 14, 2008 #7 Share Posted September 14, 2008 We had a junior suite last year and had our ta request robes there were in the cabin upon arrival. Christine
GXmanDC Posted September 14, 2008 #8 Share Posted September 14, 2008 Seems pretty bush league considering the minimal expense to RCI and the goodwill it would promote. Is a bathrobe considered goodwill? For my job I travel about 4-5 months of the year, I've never used a hotel robe. Why not just ask for one if you want it? dmndlil Posted September 14, 2008 #9 Share Posted September 14, 2008 Suite guests get them automatically, as do platinum members and above. If they are not in your room or closet, just ask, and if available, you will get them. We have always had them in our room upon arrival.

cb at sea Posted September 14, 2008 #11 Share Posted September 14, 2008 We've always booked a JS and don't always get a robe... it just depends! I always bring a short, lightweight one that fits (I'm small, those robes are huge and bulky), so that I have something, just in case. Hubby won't wear one, even if it's there! Seatravelers Posted September 14, 2008 #12 Share Posted September 14, 2008 Even more bush league considering that Carnival provides them on every ship and every stateroom. I suggest you stay with HAL and Carnival if the rate you rate a cruise line is if they include a robe in your cabin, imho

stompy Posted September 15, 2008 #14 Share Posted September 15, 2008 Seems like a silly question, but does RCI have robes in the cabins like on HAL? Suites and Platinum and above C&A folks get them automatically. If you are not one of those categories just ask your room attendant for a couple and they'll be glad to get them for you. Just make sure you return them the last night otherwise it's $65 each on your Seapass
njdevil08 Posted September 15, 2008 #15 Share Posted September 15, 2008 I was just wondering what the cost would actually be to RCI to provide robes, I mean, they must have enough robes onboard for about 50% of the passengers when you consider all suite guests and members that are platinum and above. What would it really cost to get enough for every room? Trust me, I'm not complaing, I could care less, but I'm just curious. I don't use the robes but I think it would be a convenience to some people that have to pack robes. The only thing I can think of is that they don't provide them because they like to use them as an added perk for repeat cruisers. Anyone else have any insight? IBookHePays Posted September 15, 2008 #16 Share Posted September 15, 2008 I don't care to wear the robes at all. Would I judge a cruiseline on whether or not they were there?...no.
