What's the first thing you do?

Recommended Posts

1, See if we can get into our cabin

2, Check dining table

3, Speciality restaurant reservations (since they are on the way to the Windjammer), but not this year - have made them online already.

4, Bite to eat the the Windjammer

5, Definitely get rid of the carry on bags at the cabin (if haven't already managed it)

6, Explore!

I also like to unpack early - get it over and done with (quickly)

I usually start to cry.

We have elderly parents, and I am always fearful something would happen to make us have to cancel our cruise if they would need us.

Once I am on board, cell phones off, and our family back home knows they will see us in 8 days.

1) try to get into our cabin

2) find a mango tango

3) if it is a ship we haven't been on, we go to deck 2 and work our way up to see all decks (skip this step if we've sailed the ship before)

4) when we get to the spa I make a massage appointment

5) we had to the Windjammer for lunch

Order the champagne, glasses, and a bucket of ice to make sure we are ready for sailing. Watching the dock disappear from the rail of our balcony is the big event. And don't forget to unpack the fig newtons to throw to the gulls!

hi

Writing this from the deck of the vision 1/2 hour after leaving from San pedro. So far we booked the spa appointments. Had lunch(the honey stung chicken was very good). Had my first long island iced tea and unpacked.
