What is there to do during sea days?

The shows are usually at night, but there is everything from relaxing by the pool, to mini-golf, to spa services, to seeing a movie, to fitness class, to all kinds of different activities that will be listed in your Compass and delivered to your cabin the night before.

sleep late (if you want), eat a leisurely breakfast, lounge by the pool, swim, eat, work out in the fitness center, browse the shops, swim, eat, use the hot tubs, watch or participate in the many games, go to a class, read, nap, eat, walk the ship, visit the bars, eat, spend some "private time" in your cabin, play bingo, go to the casino, climb the rock wall, play miniature golf, eat, play basketball, play cards, eat, .....and at night, you can visit the bars, eat, go to a show, walk the ship, eat, dance, work out in the fitness center, swim, use the hot tubs, eat, look at the photos in the gallery, gaze at the stars, walk some more, visit another bar.......

I looooove sea days! So relaxing!!

We find our sea days to be so full we can't manage to get to all the things we want to see or do. We check the Compass the night before and highlight the events of interest, e.g. cooking demonstration, slot tournament, special sales, spa specials, etc. We make time to go to the photo gallery to look at the pictures from the previous day in case we want to purchase one or two. Plus we always try to have a game of mini golf each day. I bring a book on every cruise and have never had time to read one yet!

Hubby HATES sea days! He loves the ports and having something to do! He's not a pool person, doesn't shop or play bingo, climb rock walls or play cards!

If you don't want alot of sea days, book a port intensive cruise!

Personally, I could lie by the pool for days on end, as long as I have a good book! (and a beer!)

There's something for everyone on a cruise---you just have to pick the right one!!!

Personally, I wish I could book a round trip cruise with nothing but sea days!

ditto........I thought I was the only one wanting to do this:D

Just booked clients going on the QM2 6 sea days, no ports from NY to Southampton and then a week later returning.

To me, the ship is alive on sea days!!!!

So much to do and see.

Room service for breakfast.

Spa or fitness in the am.

MDR for lunch.

Trivia, cooking class, shopping or whatever else in the pm.

Dinner and all the shops and casinos are open.

Breakfast on balcony/cabin via room service. Massage. Nap. Certain ships there will be afternoon ice shows. Go to the library. If there isn't enough in the Compass--go down to look at community board near Guest Services for a list of other gatherings....

We love the sea days, because you can take part in the many activities that are going on, or you can do nothing. We enjoy sleeping in a bit, getting breakfast, picking up the puzzles in the library, sitting on deck, having a bit of lunch, taking part in the trivia contests, having a drink or two, and on and on. It seems like it would be hard to fill an entire day, but it's not. No matter what, it's better than a day at work:rolleyes:
