MISSSNOOPYGIRL Posted January 27, 2009 #1 Share Posted January 27, 2009 What is the 1 food item you just miss and have to have the moment you get on a cruise? Sadly, I found the food so bland I really don't have that 1 item. But if I had to choose- I always liked the interesting soups and tried them every day! For my husband he goes ga-ga over those corn beef sandwiches. On the bigger ships with "fish n chips" I love that bouillabaisse. Your thoughts? Dr. Jack Daniels Posted January 27, 2009 #4 Share Posted January 27, 2009 Turkey and swiss on a country roll from the deli. I'm good for one per day when I'm cruising.:o DW and DD would vote for the lobster bisque in the dining room. I think Carnival does a great job on their soups. I like just abuout all of them, too! Cheers, Dr. Jack

Reportress Posted January 27, 2009 #6 Share Posted January 27, 2009 Lobster tail. I know some people aren't all that impressed, but I'm an Indiana girl - it still tastes delicious! Beyond that, I love all the soups - the cold strawberry mint is always a must-have. Yum-o!

vkramer Posted January 27, 2009 #25 Share Posted January 27, 2009 Love the Creme Brule, but I wish all Carnival ships would offer a nice plate of nachos swarming with chili and cheese and jalapenos. Can never seem to find a comfort food like that to go with my beer:) I can find the chips with the processed warm cheese, but not loaded nachos. Oh well, I will save that for home. vicki
