cruizlover Posted January 31, 2009 #30 Share Posted January 31, 2009 Reading the Bible everyday is my 1st priority. Some of my fovorite books are To Kill a Mockingbird, Mosquito Coast, The Testament, Island of the Blue Dophins. Am not fond of romance novels. Will have to pick up Devils of the Deep Blue Sea before my cruise 2.5.09.

TWG_ag Posted January 31, 2009 #34 Share Posted January 31, 2009 The Stand is my favorite Stephen King book. I have read it six times. King is not just about horror. This is a very spiritual book about good and evil and the choices that people make as they choose those paths. It is a perfect seven day cruise book. I love Faye Kellerman too. TWG- absolutely agree about "The Stand" -very spiritual , as are many of King´s books. Cruise Junky , what are the other 4 on your top 5 list? Kim I'll have to think about that, I just picked 5 off the top of my head. Pride and Prejudice would be up there. I also really enjoyed Pillars of the Earth. Let me think about the others.
