Bookish Angel Posted February 15, 2009 #1 Share Posted February 15, 2009 I'd like to avoid those wimpy, low-powered, attached-to-the-wall hairdryers if possible but I don't want to pack my blow dryer it if it cannot be used. Thanks!

Pia1913 Posted February 15, 2009 #4 Share Posted February 15, 2009 Yes, but it wil not work if plugged into the bathroom outlet. Bathroom outlets are clearly marked for shavers only. Anyone who tries to use other appliances usually fry them.

Stevesan Posted February 16, 2009 #7 Share Posted February 16, 2009 Heck, you can bring a 12,000 watt dryer on board. But I wouldn't plug it in!
Bookish Angel Posted February 16, 2009 Author #8 Share Posted February 16, 2009 Yes, I know it won't work in the bathroom and that's fine. I just don't want to blow out the electrical system!
venusbello1 Posted February 16, 2009 #9 Share Posted February 16, 2009 and had no problems! This was on the Royal Princess, but I'm pretty sure it wouldn't matter what ship you were on... I just couldn't take another cruise using the blow dryer furnished because it just made my hair a wreck! :o I would bring it... no worries! Have a wonderful cruise!
