How to get from MIA to port after dropping car off at airport?

We will be renting a car in Miami, from Dollar, and it shows a cruise pick up but no cruise drop off, so upon departure, we are picking the car up and dropping it off at the airport. But how do we geth then to the port?

What are the different options (with approximate costs) please?

If they don't offer a shuttle to the POM, take their free shuttle back to the airport and then catch a cab - $24 + tip flat rate for the cab. Good luck!:)

When we cruised in November, we flew into FLL but our ship left from MIA.

 

We rented from Dollar. Picked up the car in FLL and drove down to MIA, spent the night in a hotel and then took the car to their airport dropoff spot (which is off the airport grounds) and they had a free shuttle right to the port.

 

The driver loaded the luggage and asked which ship, and once he arrived at the port he just stopped at all the terminals for which he had passengers.

 

At the end of the cruise, we just reversed. Upon exiting the port we just waited for the Dollar shuttle and hopped on (again...no charge) which took us to the rental office. We picked up our car to drive back to FLL and catch our flight home.

Dollar car rental is not on the airport, on Lejune road, there is a dollar courtesy bus that takes you to the cruise port & airport,from the drop point.
