Old Free Photo Coupons...

Anyone use one of the coupons from the Diamond Coupon Book for the free photo. Just wondered if they are accepting them or not, going on the Mariner in a few weeks and hope to use them.

I have been turned away (and not so politely) on two different ships.

We just did a b2b on the Jewel and we had the photo coupon in our books and they were accepted. We thought that maybe they were just using up the older books. The casino coupon was not the $12 for $10, it was the free spins.

We're going on the Indy this weekend, curious to see what we'll get there.

I had no problem using mine, nor did my husband on our January cruise from Galveston on the Voyager.

Were the coupons in the book given to you on the Voyager? When I tried to use mine, it was from a previous cruise when the current book did not have one.

I thought that that is what the OP was asking.

You could be correct. I didn't notice the words "old free photo coupons", but I don't know how the staff would recognize the coupons to be old unless they are no longer offering them on that particular ship. The coupons have no identifying info to which ship, though they do say for current sailing only, but don't show a date.

hello

Im a first time cruiser (will be my hooneymoon) im just wondering if theres anywhere i can buy one of these coupon books?? through my travel agent?

These are the coupon books given to returning Crown & Anchor members.. the only place to "buy" them would be on Ebay...and you take the chance of not being able to use the coupon... your crown & anchor status is noted on your seapass card..since you have not cruised with RCL there will be no status on your card..."IF" they ask for your card & it doesn't match they can rightfully turn down the coupon...

Ive used old photo, drink and internet coupons many times. I dont tend to use them on a 4 day cruise and just save them for my 7 day cruises, I have never been turned away for any of them, or even had anyone question them

I think you will find that this changes, especially when the free photo ones are completely phased out ... I haven't seen one in my past few cruises and when I have had them, the photo clerks have been fairly agressive in making sure I was allowed to use it.

I also had one left, and when I was purchasing other photos, I said I have a coupon for one free.... he accepted it on the Monarch, no problems what so ever.

When was that?

Monarch is one of the ships where they not-so-nicely turned me down. (in October)
