mini-suite perks

Do mini-suites receive any suite perks or any perks at all?

Thanks you

Nope! We were in a mini and when we found our cabin steward, upon embarkation, he asked if we really wanted our champagne? He was far away from our cabin (had 19 to get ready before sailing) and we declined. We never did get any..............never saw, or had mentioned, a pillow menu either. They were both on the Princess website, but neither seemed to be available when we boarded. We did ask for, and receive, an egg crate pad for the bed, and robes, which were in the laundry, and delivered the next day. You just pay a little more for the mini, get quite a bit more room, and have to be happy with that. Also, the Dolphin Deck side mini's are not covered. OR>>>>>>>>>>>> you could pay a LOT more for a full suite and get the perks which would probably be cheaper to pay for separately with a mini suite. :)

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I was under the impression that in a full suite, AND the mini suites, you were able to order off of the regular dining room menu for room service where as the regular rooms had specific room service menus. Am I wrong on this?

You may only order off the dining room menu when staying in full suite.

Yep, we will have to correct you on this one I am afraid. Mini suites do not qualify for full meal service, only full suites on Princess. sorry :(

For a full list of mini suite perks, you can look at the Princess website here: http://www.princess.com/news/article.jsp?newsArticleId=na828&submit=pk

The only mini suite perks are what is listed at the bottom of the page!

By the way, on last cruise, cabin steward never replenished shampoo, soap, lotion, etc. It was a good thing we brought our own.....and that was a mini. In the past, this has always been done..............we were wondering if Princess is cutting corners this way.

No, it's not Princess, you just had a lazy steward. I've never had to request additional toiletries, but if the occasion arose, I would just ask for it.

We will have a mini when we cruise in May. What exactly is a pillow menu? Is that different types of pillows? I know it sounds like a stupid question, just have no idea what that is.

Thanks!

Nancy:)

Exactly, just a few different types of pillows to chose from.
