CruzinNoony Posted April 5, 2009 #1 Share Posted April 5, 2009 We're trying to find a good time to set up our meet & greet. Our sailaway time leaving Venice is 1pm. How long does it take until we are in the ocean?
GSPLover Posted April 5, 2009 #2 Share Posted April 5, 2009 I did not clock it but it seems to me that it was 30-45 minutes.
Cruise Junky Posted April 5, 2009 #3 Share Posted April 5, 2009 I'd give yourself an hour before anyone would want to break away from the views.
GSPLover Posted April 5, 2009 #4 Share Posted April 5, 2009 Just went back and looked at the date/time stamps associated with photographs taken. 1hr and 5 min till the pilot was picked up off the end of the jetty.

The other part from port to San mark's is also good, after that not that special in my opinion. Sail away at 1:00, 2:30 meet/greet should be good for most, provided the ship leaves on time.
