Rare NutsAboutGolf Posted April 30, 2010 #251 Share Posted April 30, 2010 DW and I have brought in four glasses of wine into the dining room on formal night The M'd or wait staff never said a word...They want tips so extremely high odds they won't say anything. However I'll guess odds will increase if the staff finds you difficult, eg constantly sending food back...
Upandadam Posted April 30, 2010 #252 Share Posted April 30, 2010 Why bother with plastic containers? Couple of bottles well wraped in the checked baggage. Put them out on the counter and the staff will keep the ice bucket full. It's always 5 o'clock on a cruise ship.:D Weight can be an issue with glass bottles. dd2355 Posted April 30, 2010 #253 Share Posted April 30, 2010 But I do like those Rum Runners and wil have to get a set.How quick is their shipping? If you order today, I'd be surprised if they weren't in your hands by Tuesday or Wednesday.
goldwinger88 Posted April 30, 2010 #254 Share Posted April 30, 2010 If you order today, I'd be surprised if they weren't in your hands by Tuesday or Wednesday. Order placed and email received that they shipped already... I wish other internet purchases were that easy. Now to figure out what to take
MrCo9 Posted April 30, 2010 #255 Share Posted April 30, 2010 I am sooooo out of the loop here, where do you buy those rum runners?? I guess it doesn't effect the strength of the alcohol to pour it from one container to another? All depends on how long it takes you. Any evaporation will dilute the strength. MrCo9 Posted April 30, 2010 #256 Share Posted April 30, 2010 Fun. You might as well just buy your drinks at the bar if you're buying the 1.5 ounce bottles of alcohol.

goldwinger88 Posted April 30, 2010 #260 Share Posted April 30, 2010 The cabin steward just cleaned around them:p Ahh another business traveler. I dearly love Mr Mrs T's Bloody Mary mix and always order it when flying. I get upgraded alot so when I ask for the mix, the attendants always bring the mix and 2 bottle of Finlandia. I would always tell them I just wanted the mix and they push the bottle forward saying "Savem for later". So my collection grows..

AllyCat81 Posted August 18, 2010 #275 Share Posted August 18, 2010 Okay so the picture isn't too great, but our stash is on the left ;) That was back in '06. Had no problems getting it on, or bringing the wine to the dining room. They never charged us to open the bottles. The following year we did the same, and the only time they charged us was when we went to the supper club.
