Tips for deals onboard weekend cruises

Does anyone have any tips / suggestions as to how to enjoy the most out of such a short cruise with the least amount of pain from ones wallet as well as making the most out of such a short timeframe? DH and I are taking the Pearl from Vancouver to Seattle May 8th-10th. Also is there a meet and greet?

Well, let's see... everything is available to you on a weekend cruise... so making the most of it is entirely up to your constitution... Arrive early on the day of departure and begin your cruise by enjoying a nice lunch! Grab your freestyle daily and plan out your entertainment options and your meals and enjoy yourself!

 

Shows are all free... dancing is free, karaoke is free, music is free, most food is free... no issues with your wallet there... just like on a cruise of any length.

 

Things that cost extra include any specialty restaurants, alcoholic beverages and soft drinks (other than coffee, water, tea, ice tea, milk, cappuchino, espresso etc), the casino, duty free shops, etc. If keeping your cost down is important then those are the activities/items you will need to avoid.

You can have a Meet & Greet if you want one. We just did a one night last week and had one. Pretty good actually.

usually take a weekend cruise down to Ensenada for our

cruise fix..not a exciting as 7 dayer..but, it s still alot of fun

and you get to get away from the treadmill with other like

minded people..
