number1cruiser Posted May 5, 2009 #12 Share Posted May 5, 2009 I just booked the Paradise sailing on May 15th, as a sole for 214.00, plus I got a 50.00 in cabin credit for booking within 60 days from getting back from our last cruise. So net 164.00 out the door. Pretty cool. Number1cruiser

Litewait Posted May 5, 2009 Author #14 Share Posted May 5, 2009 Yep, this Fri. the 8th. My PVP emailed me at 2:08 EST and said for this weekend!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You probably have to go thru your PVP. Unadvertised I would guess.. They go to Catalina. I'm also guessing it's a Ca. resident discount. Don't know for sure.

yogi2929 Posted May 5, 2009 #16 Share Posted May 5, 2009 These are CA resident rates. About time, FL seem to have them alot.
Litewait Posted May 5, 2009 Author #17 Share Posted May 5, 2009 You are so right!! We NEVER see resident discounts here. Less ships, less births to fill I suppose.. I'm loving this although I haven't been able to take advantage yet. DS plays HS baseball and can't miss. His season ends the 19th so we are looking for after that. Glad for those that can though. Thats why we share the info:D

Love PalmTrees Posted May 5, 2009 #19 Share Posted May 5, 2009 Do you think they may someday have MW (Midwest) discount? I knew we lived in wrong part of the country for some reason!!:D
candigirl41 Posted May 6, 2009 #20 Share Posted May 6, 2009 To Fred and other's yes California resident rate was $99.00 on Paradise friday going to Catalina. Just went down to 89.00 a little while ago. But our category is gone and I like the location due to the fact I have neuropathy and have a hard time walking. Going to have a great time. candigirl41 Posted May 6, 2009 #21 Share Posted May 6, 2009 Fred, when you go on line to book you have to click the california and then wait for the page to refresh. I was getting 139.00 until I did that. It is now 89.00 just checked again. Come join us. candi

Candi I heard they were canceling Catalina and stopping at a foreign fishing barge to satisfy the Jones act. . . . . . just kidding. . . buckle up buttercup! MszKitty Posted May 6, 2009 #23 Share Posted May 6, 2009 I saw that too, and immediately booked. Category 6D...taxes, gratuities...everything.....$173 TOTAL. I've never booked so close to a sailing. And I rather like the idea of going to Catalina in lieu of Ensenada (been there, done that...about 15 times!)
