Tangocherie Posted May 17, 2009 #1 Share Posted May 17, 2009 I've been a member of Cruise Critic for quite a few months and am guessing that the abbreviation "OP", often used on the forum, means "passenger". Am I right? If not, what does it mean and where does it come from?

paul929207 Posted May 17, 2009 #4 Share Posted May 17, 2009 On these boards, OP usully means the Original Poster for the thread. It is usually part of an attempt to bring the discussion back to the original question/comment.

As one of my favorite TV characters used to say. Holy Crapola!!! You are about 1,000 kilometers north of us (& 2,000k west). But, we got a bit of that cold here in Maine this morning and a little bit of frost. Rare FlyerTalker Posted May 20, 2009 #17 Share Posted May 20, 2009 But gotta ask. Hasn't winter broken up in Alberta yet? Depends on the location. As an old joke goes: What do you call snow removal in Calgary? Wait for chinook. (warm winds coming down from the mountains, for those not from AB. Melts that snow ASAP) What do you call snow removal in Edmonton? Wait for June.
