MedicKen Posted May 25, 2009 #1 Share Posted May 25, 2009 Does anyone know if there are any handicapped suites, other than JS, in the RCI fleet. I am looking at Freedom and Oasis classes specifically. We have sailed Legend of the Seas handicapped JS and Freedom of the Seas handicapped balcony. We're looking at a 2010 cruise on Oasis and would like to have the entire family in one of the larger suites. Thanks for your consideration
Jimbo Posted May 25, 2009 #2 Share Posted May 25, 2009 Don't believe so, I think your best bet would be Cabin 9172 and 9174 on Oasis. How many persons are we talking about that you wanted in one cabin?
Shebbieal Posted May 25, 2009 #3 Share Posted May 25, 2009 Post this on the Disabled Cruise forum. I think the Oasis has some big h/c suites, even a 2 story one. I think it is a loft suite. Sherry
cb at sea Posted May 25, 2009 #4 Share Posted May 25, 2009 How can a loft (with stairs) qualify as handicapped????
elleluv Posted May 25, 2009 #5 Share Posted May 25, 2009 To the OP: I'm sorry to say I don't believe there are any H/C suites above a JS on any of the RCCL ships. Post this on the Disabled Cruise forum. I think the Oasis has some big h/c suites, even a 2 story one. I think it is a loft suite. Sherry There aren't any H/C Loft Suites... the color coding for the Loft Suite is very similar on the deck plans to one of the balcony categories, so I'm guessing that's where the confusion is coming from... Bobbye Posted May 25, 2009 #6 Share Posted May 25, 2009 1742 is a handicapped accessible CL suite. It has an elevator.
Merion_Mom Posted May 25, 2009 #7 Share Posted May 25, 2009 I agree with Ellen. I think that JS is the highest category of stateroom on Royal Caribbean that is equipped and designated as handicapped accessible.
