Thanks, the menu is much appreciated. Question....Is the menu the same on all the Rccl ships?...and, on a cruise lasting more than 7-nights, does the menu repeat itself starting with day one, or does that differ with each ship?

Hi Shirley

As far as I know these are the same on all ships for this season, but cannot confirm that 100%. Unfortunately I don't know what happens on sailings of more than 7 days. I expect some more knowledgeable cc members will be able to advise.

Is the menu the same whether it is eastern or western caribbean? Do the formal nights fall on the same nights on both itineraries? Either way, Peteukmcr, could you email me a copy too? Thanks

Hi, the menus are on their way. As far as I know the menus are the same fleet wide so that will mean the same for Eastern and Western itineraries. I'm not sure on the Formal nights as I know on the Eastern they are on day 2 & day 5.

Sorry about the word menu. Have no idea why it did that.

I noticed you were on Enchantment recently....how was it? We are doing that itinerary in November, can't wait!

Do you happen to recall if there was a section of the pool area, say a splash zone, where children with swim diapers were allowed? I've heard so many conflicting reports!

Also, do you happen to have any of the menus for the MDR?

Thanks!

Sorry to jump aboard the train, but if you could e-mail me an Enchantment menu as well it would be greatly appreciated, I'm going in Sept., thanks!

I understand the menus I have been sending out are fleet wide, not just Freedom of the Seas specific. If you would like me to send you a copy when I get home, let me have your email address and I'll gladly send you one later.

Slightly off topic but everybody seems to be grumpling about the food in the MDR on most of the RCI ships and yet just reading the samples here makes my stomach grumble:D

We agree completely......I NEVER cook like this at home anymore and am so very pleased when someone takes the time and effort to do it for me......including cleaning up afterwards :D.

Have always wondered how many of the complainers cook even half as good as RCI does.......if they are expecting 5 star then they really need to head for the cruise lines that provide it and pay for it....as for me bring on the Onion Tart and Strawberry Pavlova

Looking forward to Jan 2010 :)

I have a copy of the current menus as provided kindly by another poster off a recent 7 day Freedom of the Seas sailing.

They are listed here

http://travel.webshots.com/album/573636919JQapKF?vhost=travel

They don't display well if you view them as a slideshow, but are OK if you look at each one individually.

Thanks Pete for those menus , were off again on the Independence in November, just reminding myself what I ate previously, cant wait to have the key lime pie again, I do enjoy this crusing lifestyle...

Mark :)
