Airport Shuttle

Who would you recommend to use as a shuttle service from Fort Lauderdale airport to Port Everglades? Looking for ideas. Thanks for your help.:)

Taxi is probably the easiest. It's not that far.

Taxis are really reasonable in FLL, and as has been posted, the two are really close to each other - almost next to each other.

It is only a 5 or 10 minute ride from the airport to the cruise terminal. You can see the ships from the airport.

I would never take a shuttle from FLL to Port Everglades. Way too expensive and a great deal of hurry up and wait.

 

Taxies are plentiful both at the airport and the cruiseport. About $15 per cab (not per person) including tip is about right.

Thank you all for your help with this. The cruise line wanted a lot of money for transfers and then I got to shopping. I will be getting a taxi instead of booking a shuttle. Again, thank you all for your help.

one more question about this. i have a 2 year old that will be traveling with us and we will not have a carseat with us. will the taxi company still provide us with transportation?

Taxis are the most convenient and economical way to travel from the Fort Lauderdale Airport to Port Everglades. One way would cost you about $15 and you will be there in 10 minutes. Do Not purchase the transfers from the cruise lines you will have to wait until they can fill up their buses before they will allow you to leave and charge you double.
