Compare Accra/Rockley and Carlisle

I thought I had it all figured out that we would go to Accra beach. Now I am thinking maybe Carlisle Bay beach because it is closer to the ship and cheaper in cab fare. We are just looking for a beautiful quiet beach with maybe some restaurants/snack bar, bathrooms, chairs and umbrellas (or some shade). Can anyone tell me which would be better and how much difference there is between the two?:p

Accra is the better beach all round, but given your considerations above

Carlisle Bay beach is a good second best that's close by.

You can even see your ship from the beach at Carlisle. ;)

I read the thread about Accra and it sounds very nice, which I had heard before. It does not say anything about Carlisle. How do the two compare other than the closeness of Carlisle to the port? Thanks so much for all your help!:)

I would also like to know what bars/restaurants are at Carlisle Bay Beach, other than the Boatyard. What water sports are available there?

do either if these have day rates that include resort facilities & a swimming pool? we like beach views but prefer to swim in a pool?
