Have more than one cruise booked?

We just started cruising a few years ago and felt fortunate to do one every 18 months. Now we find we have three booked between now and next May and looking forward to getting more FCCs while onboard the Caribbean Princess next month (unless Pia agrees to adopt me before then!!!)

Pia needs to buy her own FCC's aboard the Coral next month and Pia also needs the market to keep going up. ;)

I have my first ever cruise scheduled for this November on Sapphire to Mexico with my daughter and a 16 day solo cruise on HAL to Hawaii booked for next March. I literally jumped in with both feet and I'm looking forward to both. I need to give a big thank you to the posters on Cruise Critic - the wealth of information I've found here has been HUGE!!!

Amazing. You're hooked before your first cruise. And a long one too. Congratulations on your upcoming new addiction. :D

Thank you Pia - I agree I'm already hooked and the longer the cruise the better. I'm looking for one now that will either start or stop in Venice but that won't be until fall of 2010.

Look at the Ruby for fall 2010. I'm booked on it. You can do Barcelona to Venice for 12 days or stay on for another 16 and cruise back to Ft. Lauderdale.

Well it looks like I have plenty of company. I am a bit nervous with the three I have planned because of the little guy up in my left hand corner. He is 13 and did not do well last time I boarded him. He got sick while I was gone and I had a $900.00 vet bill when I came back. Our trip in September, my sister will come by and she knows his routine. I am looking to maybe find a pet sitter for the last two. You see, I am longing to travel but do not want to cause my little friend any grief.

We've got 4 currently booked - 2 are b2b Alaska in September and we've got two Southern Caribbean's scheduled, though I'm about to cancel one of the Caribbean cruises. They are for the same general itinerary (you know how it goes - you're browsing and see a great cabin so you pounce to get the right spot IF you decide to go :D) and we decided we'd rather do a 10-day out of FLL in March than the 7 day out of San Juan over Christmas. Having another cruise to look forward to and plan really does take the sting out of walking off the ship after the last cruise. We'll also be stocking up on FCCs on our next cruise.

Dream cruise? NZ, but we want the premium economy flight for that distance so we'll be racking up our air miles for a few more years for an upgrade before we can swing that one...

We've only been cruising for a little over 4 years--I would never go because of sea-sickness--now the PATCH and I survive--I have red eyes, dry mouth and sometimes one pupil larger than the other one--but without the patch I'm home--we are doing fewer cruises now--just a few a year and some more land trips--leaving Wednesday for 10 days in Aruba--next cruise will be on the PP Tahiti-10 day--this will be the 4th of that cruise--I'm getting too lazy to want to climb into a bus/car or whatever every day after setting an alarm to visit more museums/churches etc.--nice warm weather--great food for dinner--sometimes a casino--need to be an island of one name or another--love OWB's--Bora Bora is also one of my favorites--first time in Bora Bor "79--was there when Bloody Mary's was open--5/6 chairs at the bar and maybe 5 or 6 tables--very different than todays tourist trap--Oh well--lst year we met one of the original owners of Bloody Mary on a commuter plane and he told us about a great new restaurant on Bora Bora--got to find it again--it was great--I also love La manan or whatever it is the gourmet restaurant on Bora Bora--which has 4 or 5 tables.--you can see I find food wherever I go. how did I get to the food subject???

I feel fortunate to have 2 booked, Nov, 09 on the Royal to Holy Land and Aug, 10 on the Crown to British Isles. When folks at work say to me "you're cruising again?" I just say yup and give a big smile!

I do miss my 3 cats but they are well taken care of by hubby as he stays home, hates to travel. So I go with the girls.

Well I thought something was wrong with me. I have four booked to cruise between now and next July. But 2 are a BtoB...does that count? I guess if you all are OK then I am OK.:) I started out just trying to have one booked to stave off the post cruise depression, but the distance in between them begins to condense. Helping the economy and CCL (stock is almost back to what it was when I bought it:cool:). This is a great thread!

I was thinking of what people have booked and I thought Pia had it made... but then I started counting... OOPS.

Sept 09 - 7-night alaska

Sept 09 - 2-night coastal

Nov 09 - 2 night repo (Sydney-Melbourne)

Nov 09 - 7 night Western Carib

Nov 09 - 7 night Eastern Carib

Feb 10 - 10 night Southern

Mar 10 - 10 night Southern

May 10 - 3 night coastal

May 10 - 14 night alaska

Dec 10 - 29 night grand asia.

People at work ask me how I do it and I remind them how I sell my soul to get time off when I need it/want it. I had to work 10 extra shifts in July/Aug as shift-swaps for people that are covering me in November 2009 and March 2010 :( But it's worth it in the end. I LOVE CRUISING!

We have 8 booked. Crown Princess in Oct., Celebrity Equinox in Dec., Carnival Dream in Feb., Norwegian Pearl B/B in April, Norwegian Epic in Oct. 2010, Oasis [RCCL] of the Seas in Dec. 2010, and Allure of the Seas in Feb., 2011. That's a lot of cruise threads to keep up with. As you can see, we like many ship lines. Wishing everyone great cruises! And don't pay attention to the snide remarks. They're jealous. :D

Wow, when I grow up I want to be like you;)

Or when the mortaage is old and the kids are grown

Not sure I like crusing that much though but I could learn

Good thing we don't live in the area that we can do those baby 2 nighters. Otherwise we'd probably have a whole lot more on the agenda. You win. :D

the Sydney-Melbourne is a bit of a joke. I was originally going to do a quick run from Toronto-Singapore because I am short of miles in my FF account for the year, and I don't want to lose my status level, it turns out that it was cheaper to fly Toronto-Sydney and pay for the 2-night cruise, than it would have been to fly Toronto-Singapore. So I figured... Why not! :)
