I am searching out airfare for next summer and Swiss happens to be the cheapest right now but I don't know anything about them or flying through Zurich. Please share your experiences if you have any?

Thanks.

Cheryl,

Swiss has been bought by Lufthansa a while ago. So the airline itself shouldn´t be a problem at all. Zurich airport used to be a very difficult one for pilots as landings aren´t easy there. But I haven´t heard anything recently.

We have flown in and out of Zurich several times in the last two years.

The airport is very modern and user-friendly and has a very good hotel attached to it. Swiss airways is not what it used to be in the good old Swiss Air days when it was considered number 1 in Europe but they are comparable t any US airline.

I have flown in and out of Zurich airport many times and have been on Swiss Air. Swiss air is one of my favorites. Their service was better than any American airline I've been on and the alcoholic drinks are free. I think Zurich airport is very efficient and nice. I'd grab the Swiss flight.
