Staterooms by the elevators

We have had cabins by elevators a number of times and have never had a problem with noise from the elevators. You will occasionally hear noise from people getting on and off the elevators or heading to their cabins.

The advantage is you are close to the elevators so you can get around the decks of the ships faster.

Have a great next cruise.

There is a possibility for noise in ANY room ;) We've been tucked away in what we *thought* was a quiet little corner of the ship...would have been great, except for our neighbor who liked to SLAM his bunk back up against the wall (against our heads) at 5am...ughhhhh

Have a great time, you'll have easy exit to anywhere you want to go! :D

All the cabins I've ever cruised in have been right by the elevators -- usually those are handicap-accessible cabins, and I use a wheelchair. We've never noticed any noise at all...sometimes late at night (or early morning!) an occasional "ping" when the elevator reaches that deck, but otherwise, all is quiet.
