Anyone ever stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn at JFK? My wife are staying there for one night before our cruise. And does it have a restrant that is good?

Cal Cruiser, are you just looking for somewhere to spend the night? I doubt that hotel has anything that would be considered a good restaurant. Recently, there have been a number of hotels that have cropped up around JFK that are at least new and clean, not the flea bags that used to be there. If you do not have a car, there is no place close by for you to go for dinner. Where are you cruising from? If you are leaving from Manhattan, I would say to go for the extra money and book a hotel there. Whatever time you spend in the city will be wonderful, you won't even have to worry about finding a good restaurant, even the bad ones in the city are good compared to many places you travel.
