Simple Question

Can I have the duvet removed and replaced with a blanket and top sheet. I personally hate the weight of a duvet. I have done this recently on Azamara, RCCL and Celebrity. I have not sailed Princess for a few years not since the Star left from Philadelphia, then I just grinned and bore it, will the steward remove and leave me with a plain old blanket, hopefully not too old :D

Simple answer "Yes" just ask your room steward.

that's good news....the weight of a duvet kills my toes. I think wearing ski boots did

something to my feet....my toes can't take any pressure. Of course, my titanium knee

and hip are probably results of skiing, too. Should have spend more time on cruise ships.

Yes, you can have it changed if your steward understands what you want. On the Crown in Feb it took two nights to get him to understand we wanted a top sheet under the duvet!

Yes, we always ask our steward to change to sheet and blanket on the first day and it is done when we get back from dinner. The duvet is too heavy and hot for us also. Apparently many people have the same request as our steward has always immediately known what we were asking for.
