I think I have enjoyed Joseph Brackett’s creation “Simple Gifts” many times. I like Plato’s quote. Like someone else (ger-77) the purchase of Manhattan was a great day in Dutch and American history but not so much for the sellers. I have been to Bar Harbor many times starting way back in 1994 on the old Regent Sun and continuing on RCI, Crystal, HAL, Cunard, Blount Small Ship Adventures and perhaps some others. I’ll pass on the meal. My alternative is an Apple and Bacon Pannenkoek as enjoyed in Amsterdam May 6, 2019,the day after disembarking MS Nieuw Statendam. Foggy this morning but at least no early rain. Roy

My emails from cruise critic to my valid email address keep bouncing. I see a setting in privacy practices that says "Opt out of all emails" that is checked but each time I uncheck it and save, then go back to the setting after even seconds it is checked again. Any ideas, Roy
