treasure4two Posted September 4, 2015 #1 Share Posted September 4, 2015 Anyone ever been on the same deck as the tender station? We were assigned on 3rd deck on Pacific Princess and there are only 15 cabins for passengers and just wondering what they are like. Hope someone responds. Thank you. paul929207 Posted September 4, 2015 #2 Share Posted September 4, 2015 If you have an ocean view, it is via a porthole. They cover over the porthole when the seas are rough
Rare PescadoAmarillo Posted September 4, 2015 #3 Share Posted September 4, 2015 Tenders are boarded via the forward stairwell. You will have to go back to the back stairwell, up one level to Deck 4, forward on Deck 4 and down one level to the tender loading platform on Deck 3. There will be virtually no traffic outside your cabin except for a few lost passengers.
DougH Posted September 4, 2015 #4 Share Posted September 4, 2015 I was in 3019 for my B2B2B in May of this year to Alaska. Like has been mentioned they are only accessible form the stern by stairs or elevator. The passageway does not go all the way forward to the tender station. Very quiet location with little foot traffic. My cabin had one porthole and it was uncovered my entire trip but we didn't have any rough seas. I thought it was a fine cabin, anywhere on the smaller ships is OK as nothing is very far away.
caribill Posted September 4, 2015 #5 Share Posted September 4, 2015 As others said, it is a nice and quiet area with no traffic from people just passing through. And as posted above, the door to the tender area is kept closed, so you cannot access it directly from your cabin hallway. (This mainly bothered us when tendering back to the ship as we would have appreciated the shortest possible path back to the cabin after a day on shore.)
