June 11 2016 Baltic/Kiel Canal

It doesn't look like it -- the map on the Azamara website shows a big loop northward around Denmark to get to Copenhagen. If they were using the Kiel Canal it would be almost a straight line from Amsterdam to Copenhagen.

Even while living in Germany we haven't cruised the Kiel Canal yet, even if it's on our bucket list. But most of these cruises include the Baltics and/ or the Northern capitals which we have seen several times before - one of the advantages of living in Europe.

And there are so many interesting itineraries we still want to sail - I hope we can still cruise at the ripe old age of 110 to see it all... at least.... ;)
