We are considering a cruise on the Glory the end of October. I didn't realize that 3 nights in will be Halloween. Its really not an issue, but our 9 year old son will be with us and I am wondering if they will do anything for the kids? He doesn't mind not being home to trick-or-treat as long as he can wear his costume. lol......What do you all think?

He can definitely wear a costume. So can you. Lots of folks, young and old, go all out on Halloween cruises. There will be a costume contest, some props and decoration on the ship, a few spooky desserts in the MDR. We've done Halloween cruises twice. They are a lot of fun.

I was on the Fantasy out of Charleston SC Halloween 2015. It was loads of Halloween fun. They had an specialty drink called Witches Brew and all kinds of things going on. Here are some pics. We went cheap on our costumes but we aren't the goulish types. I had another friend in the cruise and she did the whole death bride deal. Wish I had a pic of that handy for you. Truly good horror. 7c48f0b17b5d0cf1af6486e7a52ec20f.jpgc7650f90611cc7feb4a84b331b91e5fa.jpgf1394fb39d4669839fd3e39c8efefce8.jpga54d7a59e06f7f4c575a34eebe1db168.jpg5a561af562a55ffd472554a136b0af88.jpg04dd609107d5aa3a95001a1f50906eb0.jpg

We did a Halloween cruise several years ago and there were some great costumes at the party. It was great fun. We were told in writing that there would be no imitation weapons allowed, sure, right, there was everything from daggers and swords to a huge battle axe, clubs and bats, derringers to machine guns. :D
