Hi all, sorry if this has been asked before...we are taking our first cruise ever on Celebrity to celebrate our tenth anniversary...wondering if I should contact someone on board as I would like to surprise my husband with a special dinner or perhaps a bottle of bubbly. We are staying in an AQ cabin; would love to hear the suggestions/ideas that any of you may have. I'm enjoying reading the threads and have already gotten tons of great ideas for making the cabin more comfortable (hello, metal hooks!). Thanks and happy cruising!

We were on the Infinity celebrated our 50th last year. We were also in Aqua Class.. that morning as we entered BLU, the hostess congratulated us, we never said a word. I asked her if she could secure a window table for dinner that evening, when we arrived, the MaitreD, approached us, said our table would be a few minutes and we were escorted to the bar where he ordered champagne for us. They went out of their way, had a cake at the end of our delicious meal. It was a very memorable event for us.

For each day of your cruise have that amount of "love" type cards or special person or even blank type cards with you. Before you board the ship have his name typed or printed with the cabin number and each date on the envelope. On the inside of the card have the date and the island printed also so you can write a special message for the day in them, for example if you have a excursion on Tuesday, have that already written out in your handwriting. I have done this ahead of time with just a special "love thought" written inside. You give all the cards to your room steward ahead of time and he can put the dated one on your bed at turn down time or stick it in your mail slot each morning. Make sure though you tip well for doing this(when you ask him or her) for you because they are always very busy , but they have been very gracious and enjoy sharing your happiness. I have also had a red rose put on the bed in the evening while you are out to dinner. Happy Anniversary !!! and don't forget to book another cruise while you are on board but don't wait ten more years to do it.

AQ and BLU are great but for a 10th anniv celebration I think you should book a Specialty Restaurant and dress up for anniv photos..not sure what ship u r on...take the best available restaurant..probably Tuscan at this point,,.. u can book ahead on line..if website works..otherwise call your TA ir Celeb cruise planners,.

sometimes they have special small group dinners with food and wine pairings etc...that u could look into once on board and change res to that... ADD anniv to your res as special celebration and u will get the lovely choc cake, wherever u dine that night

...Would also rec room service breakfast you can enjoy on the balcony.. .Room service is hit or miss but AQ has a nice menu...save the so so boarding bubbly, order OJ and make Mimosas..

You can bring 2 btls of wine,/bubbly on when u board if that works and you can order ahead if website or 800 # still allow pre orders..check X website for options,..ir look into ut when you board..

Husb can also order flowers ahead...for you

♡♡♡♡♡ HAPPY ANNIV......ENJOY YOUR CRUISE♡♡♡♡♡

Forgot to say, that we did the Chef dinner to celebrate the next nite, It's costly but was well worth it.

Highly recommend this! We did it last cruise. We had to ask for it and sign up. This was day one, even before we got our cabins. Then we got a message a couple days later saying what day it was scheduled. It might not happen on the actual day of your anniversary, but honestly would it matter terribly? They need to have enough people sign up. There were 5 couples and two officers and we ate in the wine room of Murano, after champagne toasts and tours of two galleys during dinner prep. Wine flowed freely with each course and we got the "senses" book afterwards. I think it was about $300 for the couple. We used OBC.
