The issue is not how long your flight is but when it would arrive. Add potential delays, potential traffic issues in and around LGA, and Manhattan, etc. the more variables the more things to worry about. What airline?

Thanks for posting on your cruises. I believe I read there were issues with the ship being late and that caused the delay, but not sure. Maybe you heard about that? The dome is DEF not the best embark or debark....
Strongly recommend flying in the day before. The airport is less than 10 miles fro the West Side where the ship port is, but depending of day of week the traffic can be horrendous. Echo the comments on how much they have improved LGA.
Seems to be the correct assessment. We had two on a Greenland cruise and for one we had to turn back west towards Boston to get into range for the Helicopters. This was a Journey cruise, the Captain the next day, was really singing the praise of the Coast Guard Pilot for being so precise.
