They'll probably just dock in the port of IJmuiden (25km or 15mi from Amsterdam) and provide shore excursions/shuttles to Amsterdam and other tourist attractions nearby (such as Zaanse Schans), so people still can visit Amsterdam during their cruise.

I don't want to hijack this thread, but how does moving to the different cabin work? We have booked a cabin next door on our upcoming cruise as well, and am wondering how this works 😅

When looking for the cancellation penalties, by coincidence I read in the cruise ticket contract that they discontinued the Great Vacation Protection: Section 8 (j) Guest hereby acknowledges and agrees that Carnival’s “Great Vacation Guarantee” program has been suspended and that Guest is not entitled to any benefit thereof

I used the shampoo provided in the showers to wash out the t-shirts and shorts I wore to the gym on a cruise (doing a full machine cycle for two pairs of shorts and two t-shirts always feels like a waste of water and energy to me), without any problems. Just don't use too much shampoo and rinse well.

If they have the social plan too, then yes. If you want to text others on the ship through the HUB app, it's an additional $5 per cruise, I believe.

Usually the QR-code leads to the PDF version of the menus that are posted online at several places already. The contents would be the same.

Not from the UK, but also a non-US Carnival customer here. I'm from the Netherlands and have always booked my cruises directly with Carnival without any issues.

Yes, your key card (Sail & Sign card, as Carnival calls them) are used to disembark/board the ship, for onboard purchases and as key for your room indeed.

Not off Rotterdam today, but when we disembarked last week there were plenty of taxis waiting outside the terminal, and we were in one of the last groups to disembark.
