Our grandkids enjoyed searching for the ducks (Wonder OTC) during our 50th wedding anniversary family cruise in June. Most were found around the pools and in Central Park.

Have you found or hidden any "cruising ducks"??

Quite a few folks at Jetty Park enjoying the sun, beach and refreshments..........hardly anyone at the campground????? There are several restaurants right there in the port area - just a short walk. Fishlips, Grills and Rusty's are all good. Keep an eye out in the channel as there are several dolphins that frequent the area. I hope that there will be a launch this evening. I will be out on our condo balcony to watch. Thanks for taking us along on this adventure.

Happy days in a simpler time. I saw in one of the pictures a couple of kids...........how did they have a good time without waterslides, flowriders, zip lines, ice skating rinks etc.??????? I see that "X" kept the French onion soup bowls. How did you keep that feather hat on??????

Maybe the Sea View has some better selections. Nothing sounded good to me - this will be a buffet night for us.

We honeymooned at the Elbow Beach Resort back in 1973 (just had our 50th anniversary). We were there when hurricane Alice hit, everyone was herded into the foyer and they played bingo and served drinks until the winds ceases. So sad that the resort has closed - so many wonderful memories.

Is that toasted raisin bread on your fish sandwich?? What kind of fish do they serve?? Any tartar sauce????

The lion fish is a bad dude. They have spear fishing tournaments in Florida to help control that evasive species. The spines on the fish are poisonous and are dangerous to people. I understand that the meat is tasty...........

Have you been to Horseshoe Bay - beautiful pink sand beach, rock formation - bus accessible too..........it can be a walk up and down the hill - sometimes hitch a ride.

What a sleek vessel - it must have been quite an adventure on the Meridian. I saw where there is a FB page for the crew of Meridian to keep in touch.

Just curious - what did you do while working on "X"?? Captain (as your cap shows)????

Does your cabin A/C turn off when you leave the balcony door open?
