  1. Fort Lauderdale, Port Canaveral and Miami have them.......... come on Tampa and get with it!!!
  2. Things would be much smoother with the facial recognition monitors.
  3. Bring some Dramamine (OTC), maybe buy some "Sea Bands" or have a doctor prescribe an ear patch (Transderm Scop). https://www.cvs.com/shop/dramamine-all-day-less-drowsy-motion-sickness-relief-chewable-tablets-raspberry-cream-12-ct-prodid-153004?skuid=153004&cgaa=QWxsb3dHb29nbGVUb0FjY2Vzc0NWU1BhZ2Vz&cid=ps_dh_pla&gclid=Cj0KCQjwk5ibBhDqARIsACzmgLTsRneT0yQzQ1_LhVVlcUx1cjL1RGgFgI4a8C-h1pkJq_Lr5Qc_sL8aAjeEEALw_wcB&gclsrc=aw.ds https://www.walmart.com/ip/Sea-Band-Acupressure-Wrist-Bands-1-Pair-Grey/16918569?wmlspartner=wlpa&selectedSellerId=0&wl13=814&adid=2222222227716918569_117755028669_12420145346&wmlspartner=wmtlabs&wl0=&wl1=g&wl2=c&wl3=501107745824&wl4=pla-294505072980&wl5=1015208&wl6=&wl7=&wl8=&wl9=pla&wl10=8175035&wl11=local&wl12=16918569&wl13=814&veh=sem_LIA&gclid=Cj0KCQjwk5ibBhDqARIsACzmgLTk3lg744CvFnrguS982fo7iF3pig65rgCBgOZsR4MkFtzWYuUI8y0aAkkhEALw_wcB&gclsrc=aw.ds
  4. TA's in the Fall are always "iffy" on weather as the hurricane season runs through the end of October and lots of the depressions run North up the Atlantic.
  5. We are on the Mariner of the Seas right now in Bermuda. We were scheduled to depart on Wednesday afternoon at 3PM - that was changed to us leaving at 7AM so that we could change our route to the Bahamas and try and avoid Earl and get back to Port Canaveral safely on Sunday (9/11). You might want to check cabin availability on Mariner for a Bermuda itinerary...........and you can just drive across State.
  6. RCCL customer service is consistently inconsistent!!!! The right hand doesn't even know that there is a left hand. I think that the CSR's have a "wheel of fortune" that they spin and give you an answer from wherever the wheel stops.
  7. We did bye-bye Brilliance / Enchantment..........hello Odyssey!!!!! We were doing a B4B on Brilliance in November - December 2023 and changed to Odyssey for the same time period. We have gone through the ship exchanges before and they have been a mess to deal with (cabin changes for each leg). Now we have the same cabins for the Odyssey cruises - a big plus...........but had to downgrade from our JS's to a 4Cbecause of the BIG price differential.
  8. Good luck!!! Last year when Serenade was exchanged for Brilliance were assigned 2 different cabins on 2 different decks. We called and got the same "answer" - checked back and our original cabins were already booked and at a higher rate. Found out that RCCL allowed new bookings before transferring the already booked folks. It was a mess!!!!!!
  9. I have not heard of this before..........I hope that someone will know the answer. We missed ports sailing on the Celebrity Eclipse this year because it had muscles on the hull and they couldn't reach cruising speed.
  10. I agree - it has never worked!!! The most recent change last year on the Serenade replacing the Brilliance from LA to MIA (BR was originally LA to TPA but they changed to MIA and we had to get to TPA on our own and have a hotel stay to meet up with the second half of the original B2B).
  11. We were booked on a 2023 B2B2B2B on Brilliance for 11/27, 12/2, 12/9 and 12/16 out of Tampa. We have gone through the ship changes before and it has been a nightmare getting the same cabin for 4 cruises in a row. Also this change of ships is a downgrade in class. So, we contacted our TA and changed to the Odyssey out of Fort Lauderdale during essentially the same dates. The OTS has a better (8 - 6 - 8 - 6) itinerary, more amenities and much newer. We had JS originally booked on Brilliance (1602) and had to settle for regular aft balcony cabins because of the BIG price difference. Luckily we have the same cabins for all 4 cruises.
  12. I wonder if they will go back to handing out colored wrist bands to denote vaccinated / unvaccinated?
  13. Bermuda requires vaccination and testing...........and charges for a Travel Authorization at $40 PP.
  14. We have a cruise to Bermuda in August and will use ours for their requirements.
  15. Keep them............you never know!!! Or...........sell on eBay..........keep them as a souvenir of the pandemic.........have a party and burn them!!!!
  16. Us too..........but hold on to them because you never know when the winds will change or other Country requirements and we need to have testing to cruise.
  17. Canada dropped testing requirements to enter but you need to fill out ArriveCanada documents and there is random testing at the airports.
  18. Thanks for the good news Pat - I just cancelled my Amazon order for Flex Seal that I was having sent to the ship in care of Mr. Bucky.
  19. Thank you so much.............now we have to wait for our B2B starting on April 1 for a 10 & 11 night cruises.
