  1. That’s exactly what I expected & wanted to see - the additional entree.
  2. Figured that was the case and the trade for a bottle of wine won’t be much better - thanks
  3. Even though we’ll have HIA - it’s nice to have a bottle of wine (that you like) in the room to drink w/o having to go to the bar. On our last cruise we got COVID at the end of the first week and second week we weren’t drinking in quarantine - I can’t even remember what we did if anything with the sparkling wine.
  4. Can the sparkling wine that you get with a Neptune Suite be exchanged for a regular bottle of wine? I can’t remember if we did that last time.
  5. The Dining room menu works but the Club Orange menu isn’t working.
  6. I just looked there will be 6 ships in port that day (nightmare scenario to me). I miss the old days of cruising to Alaska (early 2000’s). We are last ship to arrive.
  7. We are on the June 22 Koningsdam sailing. There will be 6 ships in port - looks like Koningsdam alternates weeks with Eurodam on who has to tender. 6 ships in port will be a nightmare for sure. Cruising to Alaska is so different from the first time I did it in 2001. I miss the old days. I have booked a ship’s tour but husband is doing independent fishing trip.
  8. Found out we will be tendering in Ketchikan and are at anchor 3. How efficient is this process? I assume they use ship’s tenders to do this.
  9. Just found out we will be tendering in Ketchikan (bummer) and wondered how quickly/smoothly this works. I booked a HAL tour but my husband has private fishing tour - we have Club Orange so hoping this makes it easier for him. Any insight would be appreciated.
  10. We are limber and can manage luggage but not a fan of luggage and escalators - are there elevators?
  11. I will check it out when we are there before the cruise and see how easy it looks.
  12. That’s what I was afraid of. Last time I disembarked there I was herding 9 people through the crowds with luggage and it was not a pleasant experience - I am looking to make this easier.
  13. There will only be one other ship in port and we can disembark early which we will do. Is an Uber a better option? If so, where is the pickup for them?
  14. Thanks - it sounds easy - every time I’ve previously disembarked from Vancouver I’ve gotten a rental car. I’d rather take a cab than do the HAL transfer.
  15. Looking for what is the easiest way to get to the airport post cruise for a 1:25pm flight. Is it better to book HAL’s transfer or get a cab? I am not concerned with the cost just want to do what would be quickest and easiest. Only 1 other ship in port that day. And if get a cab is easier where do you get the cab?
  16. Looking for the easiest/best way to get to the airport post cruise day for a 1:25pm flight. Should I use HAL’s transfer or get a cab? I am looking for the easiest not concerned with the cost factor.
  17. What are the included spirits if you have the all inclusive package?
  18. Hi Pat - I am exploring PG cruises for 2025 and was reading your review and recognized your name. I believe we went to HHHS together I graduated in ‘76. Go Spartans! I may pick you brain more when I get things figured out - looking at Jul & Aug dates to travel when the weather is much drier. Kathy Rogero
  19. 1974 Costa Flavia - Bahamas - my 16th birthday and I have been hooked ever since. Long before there were stabilizers.
