What is the cost to eat in each of the Specialty restaurants on Rotterdam? We have dining credits do they include Rudi’s Sel de Mer? New to HAL so trying to learn the ropes.

Carlett & Colin V - I’d love to see some pictures of your suite - it’s hard to find any aft Rotterdam Neptune pictures. Is there a shower and tub or just shower? I just booked 4182 for Norway next year. Any other feedback/tips would be great!!! We are first time HAL cruisers.

Looking at aft cabins/suites deck 4 or 5 on Rotterdam on the Best of Norway sailing next year and wondering about motion or vibrations in the aft. I don’t mind motion but vibration would bother me. I realize there’s always to noise when docking early in the mornings. ANY feedback would be greatly appreciated. Thanks-

Thanks for the info - I love the aft cabins and we have sailed in them many times. I don’t mind the motion but a constant vibration would bother me. If it’s just when pulling in/out of port that’s not a problem. My fav’s have been aft cabins in Alaska and we had a wrap-around balcony. Thinking it would be much the same with this itinerary - we aren’t going to the far North part of Norway. Were you on port or starboard side? Did you smell cigarette smoke?

I am a TIto’s drinker too. I saw it on the website that you can buy it by the bottle so I was hoping they’d serve it on the ship too.

I am looking at an aft Neptune next Jun and would like to hear from you how the motion/vibration is being aft. The cabin would be on deck 5 not sure if it makes a difference. This view looks amazing. We have sailed in aft cabins several times (other cruiselines) so know what to expect. We are 1st time HAL cruisers. How is the North Sea for cruising? Kathy

@aliaschief - I see you are on Rotterdam and I am booked on Rotterdam next Jun for the 14 night Norway cruise. I recognized your name from the Azamara board and wanted to ask a couple questions about HAL since you have sailed on both. We haven’t sailed HAL before (primarily Celebrity & AZ). Can you provide an info about AFT Neptune cabins on deck 5? Currently booked in a Signature suite. Is there a lot of motion - rough seas on the Norway cruise? We have sailed aft cabins many time before and had a Owners suite on AZ and didn’t have any problems but I read a few comments about aft on the Pinnacle class has vibration issue? Thanks for any information insight you can provide. Kathy

I am new to HAL and am looking at booking an AFT Neptune Suite on Rotterdam on a Norway cruise and wanted to know how much vibration - noise - motion there is on this class ship. I have sailed many aft cabins on Celebrity, RCCL & Azamara and I’m OK with some motion but vibration would really bother me. The only cabin open now is on deck 5. Any other tips about these cabins would be welcome.

If you don’t like the cabin assigned and there are other cabins open in the category can you request a different cabin?

I totally agree and would stay there again. I didn’t see the discount coupons for the hotel bar until the morning we checked out.
