We have a large OBC and I wondered if I can book specialty dining before we sail and then cancel & rebook it when on board and use my OBC? My concern is the times I want not being available once I am on board. My biggest complaint with HAL is you can’t use OBC to book pre-cruise. Thanks.

You can still order drinks they just charge you for the drinks at the stated pricing.

When can you book specialty dining? I am less than 6 months out and it’s still not available to book.

Has anyone been successful in extending a FCC given for COVID quarantine? We have one and it’s until 8/28/24. I have currently used it for a June 2024 cruise but would prefer to cancel that cruise and book for for Sept or Oct 2024. Thanks.

Norris - We did a 14 night Norway sailing with HAL on the Rotterdam in July. We’ve sailed AZ multiple times but wanted to try something different and this itinerary was much better than AZ’s. We did an aft Neptune suite. We really enjoyed our cruise with HAL - the food was fine (we aren’t foodies) and we liked the Have It All concept and found the drinks/wine better than AZ. Unfortunately we got COVID after 7 days and had to quarantine and my husband had to have 3 days of medical attention. HAL was fantastic in how they handled ALL of it. We also received a FCC for the 4 days we had to quarantine which we weren’t expecting. We found all of the staff on board very attentive. We loved the live music venues in the evening. Enjoy your cruise!

Yes and there is nothing for any of this particular type cabin on any of the decks shown on Halfacts.

Good I always dry my hair at a desk area. Bathroom gets too warm.

This makes much more sense to me and considering HAL does A LOT of cruises sold as 7,14, 21 days I am surprised. I will survive of course but expected more.

Thanks for checking on the menu on the back to back. My disappointment was this is my first HAL cruise and thought it’d be nice to get a really idea of the food with the 2 weeks having different menus. We have speciality dining booked 3 nights. Hope the rest of your cruise is calm seas - we board Saturday and can’t wait!

Disappointing -

So there were not many men in suits? More of a sport coat dress up on board. Debating have husband bring suit and sport coat or just sport coat. Decisions decisions……..
