Being new to HAL I am glad I asked this question since I would be impacted having bought the HAL transfer. Based on this information I will pre-arrange a private transfer,

Still wonder if I am better off using private driver instead of the ship’s transfer - that it might save time. I wish now I’d booked a later flight. It’s an acceptable Flight Ease schedule so I assume if there’s delays they will have to get me re-booked.

I hope so. It will be a Saturday in July. We will have priority checkin so that will help (I hope). I booked air with Flight Ease.

I am looking at pre-booking a private transfer to the AMS airport. What is the earliest time I can expect to be off the ship (we are in a Neptune suite)? We have a 12:40 flight. I have ships transfer booked but thinking it might be easier and faster to book our own transfer.

Is it easier and quicker to have a private shuttle setup to get to the airport or take the HAL shuttle?

Do you have any specific restaurant suggestions? We stayed there pre-COVID so I am sure some things have changed.

I am seeing the same thing for the my $1 deposit SC guarantee I booked for TA Apr ‘24. Assume it’s a special booking code.

How is November in the Med?

I am new to HAL and sailing Rotterdam 14 nights Best of Norway in July and would like additional information on both of these. Are they offered on all sailings? What is the cost? How do you book them?

This is good to know - I was going to book the post cruise transfer but was waiting until on-board but think I will do it now just to have it locked in. I booked our air with HAL Ease so hopefully we’d make a 12:40 pm flight if we dock in Rotterdam.

Do you know how far before the sailings they made this change? It looks like this didn’t impact sailings until August last year.

That’s what I am afraid of and considering booking a refundable hotel room in Rotterdam just in case. We don’t sail until July and I don’t want to be scrambling at the last minute (I tend to OVER plan).

Is there enough to do in Rotterdam to just stay there pre-cruise? We’ve been to Amsterdam twice before. Right now we are sailing from Amsterdam but HAL has been changing the itineraries at the “last minute” I have to wonder if they will do the same thing with this potential issue.

Now that’s VERY interesting because on July 26 when the Jul 15 sailing should be in Stavanger when I look at the mooring report Rotterdam isn’t shown on EITHER spot so……. I wonder where we will be going?

Oh didn’t realize that. Hopefully we’ll get more info this week.

I have to wonder if the reason they aren’t sending this change out quickly is because it’s so close to Stavanger that it’s still “considered” Stavanger? Just a thought. And the reason for cancelling the booked shore excursions is because now they will be pricier than they were if docked in Stavanger.

I am on the Jul 15-29 sailing and haven’t heard anything about the port change for Stavanger. I understand changes happen but this is off putting that we can’t find out definitive information from the cruise line.

I am new to HAL and want to book Rudi’s before we sail to make sure I can celebrate my birthday dinner there. I have a lot of OBC to use up but I understand I can’t use it until on board. If I book and pay for Rudi’s now can I cancel and rebook it when on board to use up some of my OBC? Thanks.

There is only a shower not a tub/shower combo, the placement of the bed with window behind it. Furnitures looks very different in pics I have seen of higher deck Rotterdam cabins.

Thank you - I saw those pictures but there are several changes to the cabin on Rotterdam and was hoping to see actual Rotterdam pictures.

Looking to see if anyone has any pictures of either of these Rotterdam cabins and also any information they’d like to share. We are booked for the 14 night Norway cruise in 4182 in July and we are first time HAL cruisers. Thanks

I have found that if i wait about 30 seconds after going to the page where you click to “manage” your flights I don’t get that message. Someone had posted this and I haven’t had an issue accessing my flights when I get it time for it to fully load.
