Yes. Even looked und gift section. And, I can’t find the bottles of wine or champagne that we would order for cabin consumption. But mainly interesting in the sparkling water. if anyone has ideas where to look, that would be awesome!

I never let RCCI pick a cabin. I learned the hard way. My sister and I like hump Jr. Suites, and we have a B2B on Voyager in January on deck 9, for exactly that set-up. I have heart damage from Covid ( exposed as nurse) and some days I spend a lot of time on the balcony and like a great view. The good news is the Voyager is a great ship, and lots of wonderful empty areas on decks where you can chill with the ocean in front of you. One suggestion is to sign up for Royal-up; you never know!

We gave up on Costa Maya years ago. Lots of vendors pestering you and beach was so -so. My sister, my traveling companion, said at one point she felt definitely unsafe, and we have traveled everywhere and rarely feel unsafe. Vendors target women very strongly in Caribbean islands, as opposed to male/female duos. However, when locals won’t take NO for an answer and move up into your personal space…..

We have a B2B cruise in January, and see nothing offered on AP for sparkling water packages. Last 2 cruises they were offered. Has RCCI done away with this option?

Good question. I am 90 days out for B2B on Jan 18th. The packages are not good right now; $253 for dinner only in the 5 day leg of journey. Normally, my sister and I wait until about a month before and book, which should include lunch. Sadly, the AP never addresses these things.

As a nurse, I bring Lysol wipes and completely clean any cabin or hotel room before I unpack. Takes 5-10 minutes and prevents misery.

I am on Radiance as well, on Jan 30. I have heart and lung damage from being a nurse in early Covid outbreak. Caused me to early retire, btw. 68 yr old. Therefore, I will be masked in elevators, check-in, casino, and bars, for the most part.

On The Radiance on Jan 30th. Anyone try out their casino lately? Last time on a cruise (Liberty) the slot machines seemed very “tight”. Someone somewhere on these boards said that the consensus on their ship was that the slots were paying out at a higher overall percentage. Can’t find the post to reference, but this person said moderate payouts were common. Was this anecdotal or was actual math applied? Anyway, curious here.

I share your concerns. I cruise in 2 weeks as well, (Radiance), and already are having issues. I tried to purchase wine to be delivered to cabin, and on line was simply not working. Made a call to RCCI and they supposedly took care of it. Well, they triple billed me and it took an act of Congress to delete all but the original order. Now, they said they can’t reimburse me (my credit card)until after cruise. The entire time I spoke with rep # 4, he kept bugging me about table size for MDR. I kept saying we had purchased the unlimited specialty dining. He told me that price was for 1 nite only.(500$) He started getting mad and told me I need to know what I am buying before I spend the money. He would not quit until I told him the seating number.Finally in desperation I said 2 people. I still never got email confirmation for the triple ordered wine/ cancellation.

Usually, we had our pre-dinner drink(s) in DL, then used the vouchers after dinner, say in the theatres, etc. don’t know if this is still allowed.

Honestly, I have AT&T as well, and I think you are correct. I know that in Mexico, we don’t need a plan, but Columbia/Panama, we would need to pick up this plan.

So, in the past cruises my sister and I would get some kind of internet pkg. The majority of time the internet simply didn’t work. Purchasing a pkg from carrier added enormous fees to the monthly phone bill: $400. That was even keeping airplane mode activated. We need to stay in touch with family back home, and we were wondering if purchasing a cheap “unlocked” phone and data plan with a SIM card from keep Go. Only to be used in ports, btw. Not on ship. any advice?

Correct. The testing is for those who are either not vaccinated or for incomplete vaccination schedules, ( boosters)

So we decided to buy the unlimited dining pkg for Radiance cruise. I was told by agent that we can’t make the reservations for each dinner until we get on the ship. Is this correct? Also where do you go to make those reservations? Final question; anyone here book that pkg on a past cruise? Wondering if anyone has tips. Thank you!

Us either. We always used our freebies with Pellegrino bottles, or glasses of wine.

So I read that the Diamond lounge is gone? I have read that they are now giving “tickets” for some number of drinks per day? Anyone know if this is true? If so, how many?
