Enjoy Hawaii , we sail there in January on Holland America. We visit five ports on four islands on a seventeen day cruise from the city with the May grays .

Where are you sailing to at the end of the week ? No , I don’t think they’ve rushed out the vaccine. They are not starting out from scratch every single time . I could ask my husband however I would get a long-winded and complicated answer with mRNA thrown in for good measure. Still feeling fine .

Same here. Harry and Meghan were excluded from the heads of state reception at Buckingham Palace . I suppose Prince Andrew was , also. We have Travel Pro soft side garment bags . They’ve traveled many miles . I’ve just bought a carryon Samsonite hard sided bag. Today , I received my third Covid booster injection ( total of 5 Covid vaccinations ) and flu shot . No problems ! I like White Castle burgers . I’m easy to please .

@HBE4 I’m so very sorry ! I, too, had a pulmonary embolism that caused me to go into cardiac arrest . I’m only here because of an error made by the ER doc who gave me an overdose of streptokinase . I’ll never forget it but I still fly . I’m glad you have family support and your step-daughter.

I think you should book another hotel and not stress yourselves further . You haven’t paid yet . Are you planning on showing up at the hotel without getting this resolved first ? Bad idea ! Booking with a discount booking agency is great until there is a problem .

I was thinking the same thing . It also occurred to me that Serena Williams is playing in the US Open at 7:00 PM in prime time. There are more viewers and maybe charge more for the commercials . She is also playing every other day . Is it favoritisms or good marketing ? Anyhow, she and her sister lost their doubles match , tonight.

The time to ask for that is right then when Debbie had their attention. If one asks politely and for a reasonable resolution they usually comply . We don’t eat ground poultry because of possible contamination. Debbie, I hope you are okay.

Beautiful photos , Andrew ! About gloves , once upon a time , my husband was going through airport security and the TSA agent was about to inspect his bag . He requested he change his gloves first which he did. However, he made my husband pay for it by taking his time .... ever so slowly he went through every item in the bag . My husband and I have four years of microbiology courses between us so sensitive to these issues.

Gloves sometimes give a false sense of security. I was at the dentist yesterday and the hygienist put on gloves , adjusted the light and proceeded to work on my teeth. When she finished she pushed back the light and then took off her gloves. How many times a day does she do this ? Does she sanitize the light between patients ? Same thing at the deli counter . The clerk puts on the gloves and touches the counter , the case , equipment and sometimes the food and maybe their face and hair.
