How is your pacemaker working out ? My husband before he retired worked for a medical device entrepreneur. The company developed a pacemaker among other life saving devices. The battery guy was a very good friend.

That art display symbolizes the future and appeals to the younger generation. Sadly , the mirrors and reflections reminds me of Yad Vashem which is not their intention. There was an article in the Wall Street Journal yesterday about how Viking and Cunard want to disassociate themselves from the word cruising . Viking is now Viking Voyages and Cunard has adopted crossings instead of cruising . They are emphasizing destinations instead of huge family oriented ships. Find your niche and enjoy !

We stayed at the Condado Beach hotel in 1995 and our friends were booked at the La Concha which was so bad they didn’t want to stay one night but were unable to find a room at another hotel. Bring earplugs because the tiny coqui frogs are very noisy. I enjoyed the Pablo Casals museum among other sights.

@dani negreanu Wow , what a misadventure ! So sorry , this happened to you and your husband, It’s not because you didn’t do your due diligence. You researched and planned this cruise and offered your expertise to your fellow cruisers on Roll Call. There is no excuse for the inferior food and lack of diversity in what was offered. As as far as the wire from the cleaning brush , they should have known you aren’t supposed to use that tool to clean a grill. Your husband was still worried even though he didn’t know if he had swallowed a wire as I was when I thought I had swallowed a plastic tyne from a fork . We called our medical provider and the poison control center to ask how dangerous was that. They told me not to be concerned but I still was. About bad service , our cabin attendant did something which I found outrageous. I told my husband to go and report him and to take away his gratuity. Just his . He had reported himself and they wiped out all of my gratuities , offered me flowers and offered to remove him from our cabin . So sorry this happened to you and your Covid infection did not help.

We have a balcony booked on deck 10 on Koningsdam . So how deep is the balcony ? I’m assuming there are chairs where one be seated comfortably.

I’m a tennis fan , also , and I’ve visited the Tennis Hall of Fame . There weren’t any notable people there at the time. My one impression of Jimmy Connors is that he was ill tempered on the court and betrayed a confidence of Chris Evert. They were once engaged and he revealed something in his book that should have remained between the two of them . Not a gentleman in my opinion. .

Wow , how lucky to have lived on Nantucket. My only Cape Cod experience was accompanying my husband annually to Woods Hole for scientific meetings . The highlight for me was the clambake that closed the sessions.
