  1. They will up the compensation till someone takes the offer.
  2. One continuous 24-hour period should be $28.
  3. The slot machine doesn't care the kind of OBC you load to it - it will cash any kind.
  4. You might not get much yet as she just got to Baltimore recently and is on her first sailing there. BTW, the cabin steward can get you a bottle opener.
  5. Others may report how policing of cabana use within the park is enforced, if at all.
  6. Promos on the ship vary and may be quite different than what you see in the planner.
  7. If you have ever been on O class in bad weather, you would realize why it wouldn't work from Southampton - it's a fair/warm weather ship class which gets crowded real fast when everyone is forced inside.
  8. You can have wild price swings either way. You can buy and then cancel/rebuy if the price goes down. The cabana is for the allowed folks you designate as the users.
  9. The planner and/or app may list that activity along with the cost.
  10. Sometimes the info in the app doesn't update until you are on the ship. For menus and other info, check out the current sailing on the app.
  11. Sure sounds like they were - just took a while. RCI is not in the business to easily save you money.
  12. You can confirm all that info when the genie gets in touch about a week out.
  13. You can fairly easily sail on RCI without ever using the app.
  14. That is limited to US bookings - probably won't work for OP.
  15. Yes, on most ships, but you have to wait till you can get access to your cabin. You are not missing much if you view it on your phone.
  16. Welcome to CC. A better guess might be that they simply got rid of the staff.
  17. The JS you'd get with such a booking is likely not worth $2000.
  18. Nothing wrong with that, but to make your life easier don't be afraid of leaving things on credit card with RCI.
  19. If this had happened in any kind of regular manner in the past 10+ years, there would have been several threads and folks would be chiming in. While it is very hard to prove a negative, it is very unlikely it ever happened. If you never actually incurred the 10% charge and were just scared off by someone mentioning that you were simply misled by whoever told you that. Again, there's no charge for getting your OBC back on your card.
