  1. Yum! Please can I come to your place next time you make this? 😊
  2. I'm not sure 1.8 billion would be enough for a decent-sized yacht these days.
  3. But that cruise will be out of Sydney, yes? If so it's usually just past the space that is used for passport control, on the corner where you turn right to the security screening. Sometimes there is a shortcut in the partitioning and in that case it might be to the left. However there is no guarantee it is a fixed position, they might relocate it for domestic duty free cruises.
  4. I've had some hard, tough scones on Princess at times. I avoid them now, just in case.
  5. That would be very nice. I'd move into one of the best suites on one of the luxury lines for a few years with that kind of money. 😊
  6. We're doing the Round Australia cruise in Oct 23. There haven't been any mutterings about the Oct 22 one being cancelled or changed so hopefully it will go ahead. By then QLD, NSW, VIC, and SA will have had cruise ships in port. Hopefully WA, NT and TAS won't throw any tantrums.
  7. That's true for regular scones as too much handling toughens the gluten but it might not be as critical for gluten free. I don't use a cutter either, I just pat it into a rectangle and cut it into squares, which is what my mum always did. They always come out in weird shapes though as the cut side rises less than the uncut side. I like your sausage shape idea, I'll try that next time. 😊
  8. The Hawaii/Tahiti cruise is awesome. We did it in 2019 from Sydney. Lots of sea days though, which we loved. We're booked on the 2024 world cruise so might see you onboard.😊
  9. Have you ever tried? They really are very easy. Next time you're in Sydney I'll teach you.
  10. I make regular lemonade scones. I use 1/4 cup lemonade and 1/4 cup regular cream to every cup of SR flour. They freeze very well, and they just need a quick zap in the microwave. I think you'd need the thickened cream for the GF version though.
  11. I've seen posts elsewhere saying it's back to normal now.
  12. Make your own using a gluten-free lemonade scone recipe. Dead easy! https://recipebook.io/home/amprecipedetails/rbk_568b6479a51f5/lemonade-scones-gluten-free Coles have gluten-free self raising flour.
  13. It shouldn't be any different from the other Carnival Corp cruise lines. Use this email address: shareholderbenefit@carnivalaustralia.com
  14. That was only for a short time while so many of the crew had Covid. Apparently it's back to normal now.
  15. We tried that last night. It didn't work! 😪
  16. Yes, but you wouldn't get to half those ports, and those are the more interesting ones.
  17. It probably wouldn't have bothered me except that we had politely declined to have photos taken only a few minutes before he took that shot - I could tell it wasn't very long by the amount left in my glass. That was very poor etiquette. We're not exactly a pin-up couple so I think he was just being a #%^#^&_^!
  18. Special offers like that one don't necessarily include OBC. You need to read the fine print of the offer.
  19. Thanks for coming back with your comments about your cruise. I'm so glad you enjoyed it after all the hassles and delays. I'm really looking forward to seeing On the Bayou again, hopefully this time from a better seat.
  20. You can't book shows on Princess. Get there early for a good seat.
  21. No, just ordinary passengers. Some older than us, some younger.
  22. Even more annoying. Actually there might be some sort of law about that - when photos are used for commercial purposes the consent of people in the photo must be obtained.
  23. In every hotel I've stayed in you have to put your name as well as the room number on the tab and sign it.
