  1. YC you'll be fine. Just go to the YC table at the base of the escalator.
  2. I know what you are saying about the pullman being listed. The three videos that had only the one main bed also show a pullman. Never knew that MSC IT has expanded into deck plan design! 😉
  3. I think you are correct about the room number being wrong, since she said they were next to each other. The bigger problem, I think, is that there is no real pullman bed in the HC deluxe rooms. There are a number of videos of Meraviglia Deluxe HC balcony cabins, and none show beds. OP should really check those rooms.
  4. I may not have said it correctly, but that was the point I was trying to make. If you demonstrate the need for an accessible cabin, MSC will try and accommodate you. You should not need a doctor's note unless you declare a potential problem with traveling. The Special Needs request should be enough.
  5. You've highlighted a potential problem. If the OP or TA does not send in the special needs form (which they probably can't if there is no "need'.), that room can be taken by a client who needs it. That is something my sister did last year. HC rooms were showing as sold out. She told the MSC rep on the phone about her need, and with a few minutes, someone who had a HC room was moved. I think her TA may have gone too far.
  6. Seashore has no cigar room. For the most part. smoking areas are outside on the starboard side (the side most MSC ships use. One exception is Meravilgia which seems to favor port side, and has an indoor smoking area between the buffet and the front of the ship. In YC on Seashore, the smoking areas are outside on the front of the Top Sail Lounge on deck 16, and on the One Pool deck on 19. MSC tend to be more relaxed on casino smoking outside of the US. Used to not be allowed on US-based Caribbean cruises, then was changed to allow smoking within an area of the casino, which is plit by a center aisle.
  7. Not sure what it's called, but it's not wood.
  8. I though OP was saying they would match to Gold, but with Silver you should get all basic Classic perks, as well as the aforementioned OBC, Milestone reward (lapel pin), and the complimentary fruit basket.
  9. Dining experience is for two people, but is for Diamond level, not Gold. Gold status brings: A complimentary one-hour thermal area session once per cruise. A complimentary gift. A complimentary photo taken during the "welcome back" cocktail party. A complimentary birthday cake when it's your birthday.
  10. In this example, room 5094 can sleep and 3rd and 4th, while 5092 may only be a sofa bed for one extra person
  11. They are technically called "Oceanview" rooms. Deck five has Oceanview rooms with sofas. Here is a link to MSC's description of the rooms. The two video clips show sofas: https://www.cruisedeckplans.com/DP/deckplans/category-detail.php?c=2458 Additionally, google MSC Meravgilia Deck plan and look at the rooms on deck 5: https://www.msccruises.com/en-gl/Discover-MSC/Cruise-Ships/MSC-Meraviglia/Deckplan.aspx You will see symbol codes for the rooms, like this: The code descriptions are below the deck plan map. They show you if it has a sofa and if it sleeps one (sofa bed) or two (bunk-type bed):
  12. They had the shows for a long time, at least on our Seashore and Seaside cruises pre-COVID.
  13. You can apply it towards anything that you can "charge" on your card. Yes for Room Service Charge, gift shop and specialty restaurants.
  14. We need to get you a few more applause memes! Lol
  15. https://www.msccruisesusa.com/-/media/global-contents/pdf-documents/16026_15_msc_special_needs_form_eng.pdf Copy and paste this into your browser.
  16. I complete the special needs form and request distilled water there. Half the time, the butler is aware, half the time not. Sometimes, the special needs folks will say it's not a guarantee when they respond to the request, but in YC, it has not been a problem. At least I have a written record of the request.
  17. It is terminal 10. I believe there is a parking garage next to the surface lot, which is directly opposite the terminal.
  18. Yes. Besides Butcher’s Cut, you can go to Ocean Cay restaurant, as well as HOLA!. Not sure if there is a dining experience menu at Kaito's, like there is on Meraviglia and earlier Seaside-class ships, since they have a dedicated teppanyaki, and the sushi restaurant uses a conveyor belt.
  19. Yeah, it's not a dark, windowless closet! It is windowless, more like a room off to the side, and probably seats maybe forty people.
  20. You are much more thorough than I on the beverages question. You got me thinking (a dangerous thing!😉). I do recall seeing hot chocolate mix packages in the buffet areas on recent sailings, also. Near the tea bags.
  21. You must never have sailed from Miami before in your 30 cruises. After one time in MIA, you would never book a shuttle like you say you die; "We had purchased transfers to Miami International, and had to wait until our bus filled up before heading to the airport. I wish we had taken a taxi, as we had to sit on the coach for 15 minutes more at the airport while luggage was unloaded." That disappointment is on you, not MSC. All transfer services try and fill up before moving on.
  22. You may be one o f the first to use the terminal, or one of the last to use one of the older borrowed terminals. The projected completion date for the new terminal is still showing as "late 2023."
